Dr. Kuhn is a seasoned expert in renewable energy and infrastructure development, currently serving as Managing Director, Germany at Recurrent Energy - world’s 2nd largest and most active developers of clean energy projects. Recurrent is co-owned by Canadian Solar and BlackRock who have recently made a $500 million investment, cementing its position as a one of the leading asset deployers in the transition to clean energy.

A Track Record Across Europe’s Energy space

Pascal’s career spans multiple high-impact roles in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including leadership positions at:

• Goldbeck Solar, a top-tier EPC and PV developer across Europe and emerging markets.

• EnBW, one of Germany’s largest energy suppliers, with a growing renewable portfolio.

• DLR (German Aerospace Center), where he contributed to high-level energy innovation and sustainability R&D.

This breadth of experience has positioned him at the intersection of energy innovation, project finance, and sustainable infrastructure development. With hands-on expertise in structuring and scaling renewable projects across Europe, Pascal brings a strategic view that will be instrumental as Penomo advances its onchain infrastructure thesis.

Penomo exists to bridge institutional capital with high-quality real-world assets - including clean energy infrastructure-backed debt. Pascal’s insight into energy project origination, capital deployment, and regulatory dynamics adds a key layer to our mission.

Together with Pascal, Penomo is also evaluating and adding Recurrent‘s assets to its tokenization pipeline.

His appointment comes at a pivotal moment. As the energy transition accelerates globally, tokenized infrastructure offers a significantly faster, more transparent, and globally accessible way to finance renewable projects.

Pascal’s advisory role will focus on:
