Partnerships drive progress in renewable energy. That is why Vindo Solar has joined forces with Penomo, the technology enabler bridging infrastructure and finance. Together, the two companies are shaping how technical excellence and digital innovation come together to create sustainable, investable energy projects across Europe.
From rooftop installations to hybrid parks and agrivoltaic pilots, Vindo Solar’s track record proves that a family-owned company can deliver work on par with Europe’s largest EPCs. Each project reflects the same approach: precision, accountability, and pride in long-term performance.
Proven Experience Across Europe
In over seventeen years of operation, Vindo Solar has completed more than 500 MWp of installed capacity across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Ireland, Italy, Poland, and Lithuania. The company’s projects range from large-scale ground mounts to complex rooftops, combining consistent delivery with the reliability investors seek in long-term assets.
Haringvliet, the Netherlands – A Landmark Hybrid Project
One of Vindo Solar’s flagship projects, Haringvliet in the Netherlands, has a capacity of 37.9 MWp, making it one of the largest completed by the company. The site is part of a major renewable hub that integrates solar, wind, and battery storage, setting a benchmark for hybrid energy systems in Europe.
Vindo Solar provided EPC support including installation, testing, and commissioning, and continues to deliver operations and maintenance (O&M) services to ensure sustained performance.
The scale of Haringvliet highlights Vindo’s ability to handle large, technically complex projects that demand precision and reliability from start to finish.

Symbizon Agri-PV Pilot – Innovation Recognized Across Europe
Innovation sits at the heart of the Symbizon project, developed for Vattenfall, one of Europe’s leading energy companies. This 700 kWp pilot explores how solar energy and agriculture can coexist on the same land, combining elevated PV systems with crop production and real-time data monitoring.
The project is currently featured in the SolarPower Europe Agrisolar Handbook (page 30) as a best-practice example for Agro-PV development. Vindo Solar was responsible for the engineering and construction, ensuring that an experimental concept became a fully functional, replicable model.
Symbizon demonstrates how Vindo applies its practical expertise to frontier projects that redefine how Europe integrates clean energy and land use.

Germany Projects – Powering Amazon’s Renewable Commitments
In Germany, Vindo Solar contributed to a series of large-scale projects for Amazon, supporting the company’s renewable energy goals. These projects showcase Vindo’s ability to deliver to the exacting standards of global corporate clients, combining advanced engineering with strict ESG and compliance frameworks.
By executing for some of the world’s most recognized brands, Vindo reinforces its reputation as a trusted EPC partner for institutional clients and sustainability-driven enterprises.
“Blue Goose” Rooftop – Large-Scale Urban Generation
Another highlight in Vindo Solar’s portfolio is the “Blue Goose” project, a 13.5 MWp rooftop installation in the Netherlands and one of the country’s largest of its kind.
Working with Obton, a leading European solar investment group, Vindo managed design optimization, logistics, and installation across multiple industrial rooftops. The project demonstrates the company’s versatility, delivering high-capacity renewable generation in dense urban and industrial environments.

From Construction to Stewardship
Vindo Solar’s commitment to long-term performance extends beyond construction. The company continues to provide O&M services for the Haringvliet site, ensuring optimal performance and sustained returns for asset owners.
This focus on lifecycle care embodies Vindo’s broader philosophy: building renewable infrastructure that performs consistently, year after year.
In acknowledgment of its consistent delivery and engineering excellence, Vindo Solar has been nominated as a finalist in the “European EPC of the Year” category at the 2025 European Solar Awards.
This recognition highlights the company’s contribution to the continent’s clean-energy growth and reinforces its standing as a trusted partner for developers, investors, and asset owners across Europe.
The collaboration between Vindo Solar and Penomo is built on a shared mission: to make renewable energy both technically sound and financially scalable. While Vindo focuses on the tangible side of the transition—designing, building, and maintaining solar assets—Penomo provides the technology and digital infrastructure that connects those assets with capital markets.
Together, they represent a modern approach to sustainable growth, where engineering excellence and financial innovation combine to accelerate the energy transition.
Looking Forward
Vindo Solar’s journey reflects a simple truth: reliability, craftsmanship, and trust remain the foundations of renewable energy success. With a growing portfolio, a commitment to innovation, and recognition among Europe’s best EPCs, the company continues to prove that family-owned values can power continental-scale impact.
